Di Drew is one of Australia's most respected, award winning film and television drama directors. She is a recipient of the Australian Director's Guild Award for "excellence in her field". Her impressive body of work includes the feature films, telemovies, television series and serials, children's films, short films, documentaries and theatre. Di's work has gained both local and international recognition at some of the worlds most prestigious film festivals and she holds an impressive selection of awards for her work as both a director and producer including multiple logies for the TV series All Saints which she produced. Di is a graduate of the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) and returned later in her career as Head of Directing. She just completed seven years at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) as the inaugural Head of Screen. This program was an intensive integrated training of screen performance for the graduate (BFA) actors at NIDA. Di holds a reputation as an exemplary teacher and director of actors and continues as an active member of the arts and cultural community as a producer, director, mentor and board member across a broad cross section of the arts community.
