- Born in Libertyville, IL, Frank started his riding at the age of 3 year old. He spent his youth working with his father, first at the Circle R Farms livery stable and later at the Big Hat Rodeo company. As a young adult he spent 9 years from 1972 to 1981 working with the Lipizzaner horses at Temple Farms in Wadsworth, IL. It was during this time that he made his first contact with the movie industry, providing stunt support. His equine career took him to a number of well know facilities. Among these are: Arlington Park, Arlington, IL - Oaklawn Park Race Track, Hot Springs, AR - Keenland, Lexington, KY - Churchill Downs, Louisville, KY - Calder Race Course, Miami Gardens, FL - Miami Jockey Club, Hialeah, FL. Initially working as a training rider, he eventually advanced to a position as assistant trainer. In 1985 Frank took a position as stud master with Hill & Dale Farms in Barrington, IL running their breeding program. In 1988, he made what turns out to have been his last big transition. At this time he started his own operation, Jus-Ran Farms, located in Kansasville, WI.
