Kevin Bissada began his profession in the entertainment industry at the
age of 23 as an assistant at Michelle Pfeiffer's production company,
Via Rosa Productions in April of 1996. He was hired by Development
Director, Mary Kohnert, and it was there he became acquainted with
Pfeiffer's producing partner and friend, Kate Guinzburg. He worked
through the company's films One Fine Day (1996), A Thousand Acres
(1997) and then moved into production on their film, The Deep End of
the Ocean (1999). He was teamed up again with Kate Guinzburg in 2001 as
her assistant at her briefly formed company, Bregman/IAC Productions
with veteran Producer, Martin Bregman, and on the Julia Stiles film
Carolina (2003).
