- Soledad's artistic last name, Miranda, was drawn out of a hat. Soledad chose her artistic surname by surprise: she put several surnames on different papers, placed them in a hat, and the "innocent hand" drew that of Miranda.

- She has a son (Antonio) with José Manuel Simões.
- Her pseudonym, Susann Korda, was created by director Jesús Franco from the name of an earlier German film actress, Susanne Korda.
- Soledad is interred in an anonymous wall crypt at the Cemiterio do Lumiar in Lisbon, Portugal (Municipal Ossuary, #6438, bottom row). At the time of her tragic death political tensions were high between Portugal and Spain, and her family could neither bring her home nor visit the cemetery to oversee her burial. As of 2024 Soledad's resting place is marked only with a number.

- A street is named for the actress in her native Seville, Spain. Calle Soledad Miranda is a pedestrian thoroughfare that runs the length of two city blocks.
- She was the first-born daughter of Juan Antón Rendón and Mercedes Bueno.
