- She started her professional life as a high school physical education teacher, then a math teacher. Appearances on the TV show Carosello (1957) led her to a career in movies, in roles where she had plenty of occasions to show her physical perfection.
- Spent ten years appealing her conviction for dealing and possession of cocaine. The conviction was finally overturned.
- Co-habited with Jean-Paul Belmondo (1972-1980).
- Samuel Z. Arkoff, producer of Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs, blamed the film's failure on Antonelli's refusing to take off her clothes. He claimed she was originally willing to, but then Arkoff's nephew, who was sent to supervise the film, developed a crush on her and dissuaded her.
- [Shortly after withdrawing from public life] Earthly life no longer interests me.
