- When she was an infant Gretchen moved from Virginia to South Dakota. With the exception of a 6-month period, during which she lived in Mississippi, Gretchen lived in SD until she started Junior High School, which is when she moved to Missouri.
After graduating from high school Gretchen attended college at the University of Missouri. While attending college she was selected to be a member of the St. Louis Cardinals Big Red Line cheer leading team. After graduating from college Gretchen moved to California and earned a Masters Degree in Communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Due to her positive experience as a member of the Big Red Line Gretchen decided she would try our for the Los Angeles Raiderettes cheer leading team. She was selected on her first try and was a member of the Raiderettes for 6 years. During her tenure as a Raiderette Gretchen was honored as Raiderette of the Year her 3rd year with the squad.
Gretchen attended law school at the Loyola Marymount School of Law in Los Angeles.
