Lauren Stamile is best known for playing Nurse Rose on the ABC series Grey’s Anatomy, but her stay in the show was short-lived due to the nature of her character being just another obstacle to the show’s main Otp or one true pairing.

Even though she only appeared in a couple of episodes, Stamile was lucky enough to share a kiss with Patrick Dempsey, the actor who portrayed Derek Shepherd. There’s just one tiny inconvenience during their romantic scene that the actress regrets.

Spoiler Alert! This post contains details from the series finale of The CW’s Gotham Knights.
Gotham Knights ended its one-season run on The CW on Tuesday, as the network bids farewell to many of its scripted series.
The episode, titled “Night of the Owls,” opens with the crew in quite the predicament as they try to explain to Gotham Pd how they’ve once again been set up by the Court of Owls. Meanwhile, Rebecca (Lauren Stamile) is holding Harvey (Misha Collins) hostage inside Wayne Tower with his daughter Duela (Olivia Rose Keegan) strapped to a bomb. If Harvey unleashes Two Face, then Rebecca promises to disarm the bomb.
While he’s being questioned, Turner (Oscar Hayes) gets quite the shocker: Batman didn’t kill his parents in cold blood. In fact, he was defending himself from the couple, who were hired to murder him. In a (somewhat) fortunate turn of events,...

Following the cliffhanger that concluded last season, Chicago Fire Season 5 Episode 1 picked up exactly where we left off.
But you'd be forgiven if you were expecting a bigger bang from "The Hose or the Animal" because rather than finish the past plot threads it really just prolongs them.
Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Stella (Miranda Rae Mayo) are an official couple now and the episode gives us the obligatory cute morning after moment between the two of them.
However, by the end of the episode this pairing seems to be going the way of Severide's many past relationships.
He catches himself looking at bikini-clad women when responding to a call at a pool party, then when Stella offers to let him move in with her - admittedly a very premature move, even if he's looking for a place to crash - he admits that he's not great with monogamy.

Two things inspired executive producer Matt Nix on the forthcoming USA Network series “Complications:” volunteering at a hospital and witnessing a gang member break into his Echo Park home 10 years ago.
“I thought he was one of the gardeners,” Nix told reporters at the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena on Thursday.
After confronting him, he was walking away, and for reasons I cant explain, I started following him. He totally saw me getting his license plate and he did the gang bang member head nod at me.”
“At the trial, I kind of made friends with the guy.

USA Network has greatly expanded the cast of its intriguing drama pilot Complications. When Jason O’Mara’s casting was announced, my interest was piqued by his character’s story and the potential it had for a long-running series, but I’m really starting to get excited about this project now that several new characters, and the talent behind them, have been announced. The biggest new player is Beth Riesgraf (Leverage), who will be going through some serious issues opposite O’Mara.
Complications follows ER Dr. John Ellis as he goes through a massive change in his life following a gang shooting that forces him to explore just how active a doctor can be when treating his patients’ medical problems. As reported by THR, Riesgraf will be playing the role of Samantha Ellis, John’s wife. She’s an attractive, intelligent lawyer trying her best to keep her family, career...

Back in 2010, Lauren Stamile played a relatively well-known character by the name of Professor Slater on the NBC sitcom Community. After being publicly humiliated by her ex, Slater disappeared and has not been seen or heard from since. Ever since, I’ve been keeping my eye on any role Stamile takes in the hopes of discovering Slater had started a new life on a new show. It’s tricky business; no doubt Slater wanted to start a completely new identity and trying to connect her to her old life would not be easy. But I’m reasonably certain her new character on The Mentalist is the one I’ve been searching for.
According to TVLine, Stamile will be portraying a Madison Yardley in The Mentalist’s Season 6 premiere. She’s the wife of a murder victim, whose body was discovered two years after he was reported as missing. I know...

Lauren Stamile has booked another high-profile guest-starring gig.
The actress (Community, Grey's Anatomy, Burn Notice) will portray Madison Yardley on the September premiere of The Mentalist.
According to TV Line, this character is the wife of a murder victim whose corpse is found two years after he was reported missing. No word on exactly how Stamille's Yardley will be involved, but it's safe to say she becomes a suspect for Jane and company.

For its 100th story, “Forget Me Not,” Burn Notice needed to tell the story of how Michael (Jeffrey Donovan) and Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) met, before it rides off into the sunset. But how did we come to that meeting when last we saw Michael, he was in the Dominican Republic trying to keep his deep cover from being blown? And what was the meaning of this line:
Michael: That’s the kiss you give when it’s over.
It meant that Michael blew his chance for eternal happiness with Fiona, even after saving her from Dexter Gambler, (Nick Tarabay, Spartacus: War of the Damned) the spy Randall Burke’s henchman sent stateside to confirm Michael’s mission. She wouldn’t have been caught to begin with, if her, Sam (Bruce Campbell) and Jesse (Coby Bell) weren’t trying to deal with the fallout of Michael’s deal with the CIA.

Editor’S Pick: Burn Notice Finale Review – The damage is done
What’s worked
• Burn Notice broke out of its safety zone this season by taking Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) away and for a few episodes we got to see Fi in solo action. She still used her wits, creating makeshift weapons, charming the guards and fellow inmates but she didn’t quite have the backup, the car, nor the right pumps to match those orange jumpers.

Burn Notice Season 6 Episode 16: Odd Man Out
Burn Notice has been filled to the brim with annoying characters this season. Tom Card (John C. McGinley) was rightfully shot in the head in the mid-season finale, “Means & Ends” and whenever I see Agent Olivia Riley (Sonja Sohn), her one-note overacting makes me want to yank my television off my wall, climb up a flight of stairs to “clean and jerk” it out of my third-story window. I know, I know, Sohn was on The Wire, but can we give her a little more range to work with here? Oh and by the way, we get two hours of her tough girl act in the season finale. But the award for the most annoying character this season – and perhaps all of the seasons – has to go to Colin Schmidt, played by comedian Patton Oswalt.

We often joke about Burn Notice being stuck in its formula but we’ve noted that Season 6 has been superbly different with a more serious tone and a focused Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) risking his own life and limbs to get Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) out of jail. TV spots warned us that episode 606, “Shock Wave” would bring death to the show and the inclination is to suspect Agent Pearce (Lauren Stamile) or Agent Card (John C. McGinley) would take the fall because most viewers don’t expect to have a significant death this early in the season. But we didn’t get one big death, we got two.
Agents Pearce and Card would certainly give Michael a duty of loyalty to fulfill, to see to it that their killer would be found if their time was indeed up–we saw how Michael reacted to Max’s death, even though he was framed for it.

Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) has been the good soldier, helping those in need while trying to find out who burned him as a spy. After getting so close to the truth so many times, Michael began risking those he cared about to get any morsel or favor to help him get to the end. Once he got there, he wasn’t prepared for the most surreptitious villain he’s faced so far. Anson Fullerton (Jere Burns) has been up there all along, pulling the strings and orchestrating the madness in Michael’s life and then used Michael and his crew in Season 5 with Fiona’s (Gabrielle Anwar) life as leverage because he could frame her for the killing of two security guards at the British Consulate. The first two episodes have shown that Burn Notice is noticeably different this season–noticeably awesome that is!

Ep. 602 “Mixed Messages”
There’s something very different this season, something very rough around the edges and I like it! In seasons past, Burn Notice would make a large splash in its season premiere that furthered Michael’s progress up the burn list, and then retreat back to safety like Sam Axe reclining in a South Beach cabana with a mojito in hand. After an explosive Season Premiere, creator and showrunner Matt Nix and star/producer (and director of this episode), Jeffrey Donovan kept pedal floored.
Viewers had to know that Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) would not be safe going to prison and her “Dear Michael” letter set the tone for the episode.
“They don’t just take away your freedom. They take away your dignity, your hope. So you give up and do as you’re told and you know how good I am at doing what I’m told.
