Eugene Wiley Presbrey(1853-1931)

Presbrey made his stage debut at the Boston Theatre in 1874. Writer of
seven "Raffles" (the amateur cracksman) films, Presbrey also wrote
adapta-tions for "Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary," "The Courtship of Miles
Standish" and "The Barrier." He was also a thirty-second degree
Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Mecca Temple in New York
City.
