Loreena McKennitt was born in Manitoba and began her music career
peforming in a number of places including Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
before settling in Ontario. Her music was widely used in the TV series
EZ Streets and is now heard in Roar.
Her song "The Mummer's Dance" was used in the television commercials
and movie trailer for EverAfter (1998) even though that song
was not included in the soundtrack or the movie itself.
