Nothing is going to stop Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon from bro-ing out this holiday season. The pair recently reunited for “You’ll Be There” — off Fallon’s new record, Holiday Seasoning — and today Rolling Stone is premiering a snippet of the track’s visual, which will appear on Fallon’s Holiday Seasoning Spectacular TV special.
The 90-second clip finds Timberlake and Fallon goofing off in a glittering green screen-manufactured winter wonderland. Alternately donning velvet tuxedos and neon-bright snow suits, the pair show off their dance moves, chuck conspicuously solid snowballs at each other,...

Julia Roberts is no stranger to intense roles, but Leave the World Behind took things up a notch—straight to voicelessness! In one standout scene, Hollywood’s original Pretty Woman pushed herself to the brink, giving such a gut-wrenching performance that she literally couldn’t speak afterwards. Yep, Roberts went all in, pouring every ounce of emotion into her character until her voice just checked out.

For an actor who has spent decades captivating audiences with her charisma and charm, this loss of words was nothing short of monumental. It’s clear that Roberts’ dedication to her craft’s only deepened over the years, and this scene is proof that she’s still got it, even if she’s left speechless in the process.

When the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame released the names of special guests coming to the ceremony this year, quite a few people were surprised to see Julia Roberts listed alongside the likes of Questlove and Tom Morello. Dave Matthews, Kenny Chesney, James Taylor, and Mac McAnally paid tribute to Jimmy Buffett as the late singer-songwriter was among the recipients of the Musical Excellence Award at the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony at Cleveland’s Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

In a food landscape largely controlled by corporations, Farm Aid 2024 showcased farmers who are creating community-based food systems that improve food access and quality, boost farmer income and local economies, and promote healthier soil and water.
At the sold-out event at Broadview Stage at Saratoga Performing Arts Center, a diverse group of farmers and food producers shared the ways they work in their communities to develop a more democratic farm and food system that is healthy, safe, equitable and accessible. What they say they need is more support from our country’s eaters, as well as from our elected representatives in local, state and federal government.
Farm Aid's leadership and artist board members Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Neil Young, Dave Matthews and Margo Price highlighted the resilience and generosity of these producers, calling on the country to harness our collective strength to counter corporate dominance in our food system.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has rolled out a list of performers and presenters for the ceremony set to stream live on Oct. 19, with actor Julia Roberts, hip-hop producer Dr. Dre, pop superstar Dua Lipa and country luminaries Keith Urban and Jelly Roll among those slated to pay tribute to the 2024 inductees next month in Cleveland.
As is its fashion, the Hall often does not distinguish in advance between those who will perform live and those who will offer induction speeches, leaving fans guessing about not just that but who will be honoring who. In many cases it’s easy to connect the dots, though, as when Jimmy Buffett’s longtime band member Mac McAnally and frequent duet partner Kenny Chesney are slated to show up in the year Buffett is being inducted.

Willie Nelson has confirmed the release of Last Leaf on the Tree, which will serve as his 153rd album. The new album will arrive on November 1st.
Nelson, now 91, shared his last studio album The Border back in May. For Last Leaf on the Tree, Nelson’s son Micah curated a list of songs for Willie to cover, including The Flaming Lips’ “Do You Realize??,” Beck’s “Lost Cause,” and Tom Waits’ “Last Leaf,” which serves as the album’s title track. There are also covers of songs by Warren Zevon, Nina Simone, Keith Richards, Sunny War, and more, plus a few originals.

“Last Leaf” originally appeared on Tom Waits’ 2011 album Bad as Me, and Nelson’s cover is just as poignant. Across blooming strings and a lonesome accordion, Nelson reflects on aging and a life of experiences with tenderness and patience. Take a listen to “Last Leaf” below.

More than 250 artists, including Billie Eilish, Green Day, Sia and Cyndi Lauper, signed a letter Thursday urging the Senate Commerce Committee to support a bill that would reform the ticketing system for live events.
The Fans First Act, which was initially introduced in December by Sens. John Cornyn, Amy Klobuchar, Marsha Blackburn, Peter Welch, Roger Wicker and Ben Ray Lujan, aims to address flaws in the current live event ticketing system. The bill hopes to increase transparency in ticket sales, protect consumers from fake or overpriced tickets, and hold those who engage in illegal ticket sale practices accountable.
“As artists and members of the music community, we rely on touring for our livelihood, and we value music fans above all else,” the letter said in part. “We are joining together to say that the current system is broken: predatory resellers and secondary platforms engage in deceptive ticketing practices to inflate...

Anyone who has tried to secure tickets to a concert in recent years knows that the system is broken. Luckily, many top acts know it is broken, too, and want something done about it.
Over 250 artists, including Billie Eilish, Dave Matthews, Lorde, Sia, Train, Graham Nash, Green Day, Cyndi Lauper, Fall Out Boy, Chappell Roan, Becky G, Béla Fleck, Jason Mraz, Yes, Mgmt, Blue Öyster Cult and many others have lent their names to bills currently put before congress, the Fans First Act and The Ticket Act, which basically pokes holes in the current ticketing system that frequently drives up prices and creates an unfair secondary market. The bills by members of both parties, like Republican Texas senator John Cornyn and Democratic Minnesota senator Amy Klobuchar.

Since the lockdown four years ago, Dionne Warwick has been known almost as much for her pithy tweets as for her velvety singing voice and the gorgeous Burt Bacharach-Hal David hits she transformed into pop standards. “I don’t get up in the morning and say, ‘I’ve got to tweet today,’” she tells Rolling Stone. “I do it when I feel there’s something I want to say.”

Ozzy Osbourne is known to many as the Prince of Darkness, but now he’s got a new nickname: “The Betty White of Rock ‘n’ Roll.” That comes courtesy of Peter Frampton, a fellow inductee in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024.
Frampton was asked by Rolling Stone about Ozzy getting in the Rock Hall for the second time (he was also inducted as a member of Black Sabbath in 2006), and the guitar hero responded, “The man is the Betty White of rock & roll.”
We’re not sure Ozzy will be using that as a tagline anytime soon, but Frampton was surely relating the metal icon’s long-lasting career and lovable persona to that of the beloved late Golden Girls actress. As far as potentially jamming with Ozzy on a rendition of “Crazy Train” at the Rock Hall induction ceremony this October, Frampton enthused, “That would be fantastic.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has revealed the names of 16 artistes who will be inducted in 2024. According to ‘Variety’, the diverse list includes R&b/rock pioneer Big Mama Thornton, pop superstars Cher and Dionne Warwick, as well as 1970s-rooted rockers like Peter Frampton, Foreigner, and Ozzy Osbourne, alongside 1990s icons such as the Dave Matthews Band and Mary J. Blige.
Jimmy Buffett’s inclusion among the inductees comes as a surprise. His entry is unexpected not only because the late singer/songwriter was not on the ballot this year but also because he had never been nominated before.

Back in 2020, it was announced that a biopic on the tumultuous relationship between Ozzy Osbourne and his wife/manager Sharon Osbourne was in development. While not much has been revealed since then, the Osbournes — including kids Jack and Kelly — have some strong opinions on who should play the lead roles.
During a new episode of The Osbournes Podcast, Jack posed the question, “Who do you want to play you guys?” To which Kelly responded, “I know who I want to play mom — Florence Pugh. I think Florence Pugh would do a fantastic [job].”
Sharon added, “I think Florence Pugh or the little girl from Game of Thrones,” with Jack clarifying that she meant Maisie Williams.

“You know who I want to play dad,” continued Jack. “Bill Hader … Everyone thinks I’m fuckin’ crazy until I show a side-by-side picture, [not to mention] that guy’s ability to morph [into a character].”

Oh, the humanity. An eight-foot bronze statue of Willie Nelson in Austin, Texas, was vandalized over the weekend, Austin’s Fox affiliate reported. Much of the base of the statue was covered in bright pink spray paint on Friday — to which we can only ask, “Why?”
Local cleanup crews were quick to remove the paint and clean the statue since the vandalization. Austin Police hadn’t responded to Rolling Stone’s request for comment on Monday regarding potential suspects or if the vandals had been caught.
