- Maggie de la Riva was born in 1942 in the Philippines. She is an actress, known for Lagablab sa Maribojoc (1964), Istambay (1963) and Alamid: Ang alamat (1998).
- She was portrayed by Dawn Zulueta in the film The Maggie dela Riva Story (God... Why Me?) (1994). She dances the flamenco and has performed for various programs all over the Philippines. She has two children, Camille and Michael.
- Studied ballet in her youth, and performed with the Pamana Ballet Company as prima ballerina. In 1998, she started studying flamenco, and has since performed all over the Philippines.
- She has made over 40 feature films, including 8 between 1963 and 1966 co-starring with future Filipino President Joseph Estrada.
- Graduated from high school in 1958 at Maryknoll College and finished the secretarial course in 1960 at St. Theresa's College, Manila.
- Maggie dela Riva was raped by four men June 26, 1967. The rapists were captured and sentenced to death by electrocution October 2, 1967 and executed May 17, 1972 on national television.
