- Son of legendary architect Louis I. Kahn and landscape architect Harriet Pattison. Kahn also had a daughter, Alexandra, with architect Anne Tyng. Although he privately acknowledged Nathaniel and Alexandra as his, Kahn left them out of his Will, leaving his entire estate to his wife and their daughter.
