"Sé villana. La Sevilla del diablo" is a compiling documentary about Seville "Spain". It reflects with sarcasm some of the deepest problems and stereotypes associated to Andalusians, and depicts them as the consequences of capitalism.

The story is set in the 12th century in Arab-ruled Spanish province Andalusia, where famed philosopher Averroes is appointed grand judge by the caliph and his liberal court judgments are not liked by everyone. The caliph's political rivals, centered around the leader of a fanatical Islamic sect, force the caliph to send Averroes into exile, but his ideas keep on living thanks to his students.

Musical film about flamenco's singer Enrique Morente, just finished shooting few days before he died. The movie was shooted last year with songs about poems by Pablo Picasso. This is the last work in the life of Enrique Morente as has been established as his musical legacy and his thinking. Throughout the film Enrique Morente speaks about his life, flamenco, family and history of friendship with Eugene Arias, the Picasso's barber in France. Morente plays traditional flamenco songs, mixed with mergers and other music. Besides he sings for the first and last time with his family in Arab ruins in Granada. There are unique visual documents includes the last song in his life, "Fallen Angel ", with the famous jazz pianist Federico Lechner.

This second feature in Nacer Khemir's "Desert Trilogy". The story revolves around Hassan, who is studying Arabic calligraphy from a grand master. Coming across a fragment of manuscript, Hassan goes in search of the missing pieces, believing that once he finds them, he will learn the secrets of love. With the help of Zin, a lovers' go-between, he meets the beautiful Aziz, Princess of Samarkand. After encountering wars, a battle between false prophets and an ancient curse, he learns that an entire lifetime would not suffice for him to learn the many dimensions of love.

This program contends that the popular perception of the Muslim occupation of Spain toward the end of the first millennium is largely wrong. The eighth century Muslim invasion of the Iberian Pennisula was largely welcomed by the locals and rejuvenated the area with advanced technology, agriculture and a construction boom. This program describes these innovations. All this changed in the eleventh century when the regional government fragmented. That set the stage for the Christian invasion and the Islamic fundamentalist resistance leading to more of a civil war than a holy war that decimated the region with corruption, destruction and exile.

A blend of ancient, folk, traditional and modern resources, from heroes in combat to delicate music, with a strong Mediterranean flavor, seem to bring life to this young couple and the author himself.
