I think the show is done very well , and shows a race that I , and many others had no idea existed. It shows teams from all over the world competing in this grueling and treacherous racing events. It is projected down into multiple stages and checkpoints. The race covers open ocean and jungle trekking as well as bicycle riding and hiking mountains and jungles. Many of these people have amazing stories and it is very nice to see a program that spotlights diversity and positivity. I see complaints about showing to much of the USA teams and not enough of others. Simple answer is that it is an American production and film crew. Therefore they spotlight them over others. I would have liked to see more of the others also but I think they do a fine job giving time to these other countries. Let's not forget logistically that this race covers vast areas which are very difficult to get film crews in and that they cannot be everywhere at once.
Bear Grylls, whom I am a big fan of Does a great job hosting the event and popping up in spots when the athletes are at there most tired which shines a light on how difficult this race really is. The athletes and teams must also build there rafts in certain areas of the race and trek all their gear with them as well. Very informative and fun to watch. Do not listen to reviews complaining about only seeing American teams. There's plenty of other countries and it's a breathe of fresh air. Well done Amazon !!!
