Jessica's father is of Russian and Ukrainian (her last name is Ukrainian) heritage and her mother is Japanese. She was raised in Los Angeles, California. She is fluent and literate in Japanese. She has practiced Japanese Calligraphy and Japanese Tea Ceremony since she was 5 years old.
