A minor but suspenseful anthology video by Paul Thomas, "View Point" is all about voyeurism, depicted in three separate vignettes set in an apartment house. It's atypical porn but interesting enough to merit a look-see.
Opening segment is titled "The Exhibitionist", something of an ironic title for a tale of highly self-conscious Kirsty Waay, moving into a new apartment with husband Bobby Vitale, and constantly complaining to him that a neighbor is watching her. They make love (the fans MUST be served) including anal sex, but her paranoia gets him angry, sort of the converse of the popular Gaslighting genre. After some good suspense, the ending lives up to the title.
Second vignette is titled "The Watcher and the Watched", set in the same apartment building with mature actress Charlee Koepke encoring as the landlady. Narrated by its star Vince Vouyer, this short story has him infatuated with his new neighbor Chasey Lain. He can't stop watching her dance and undress at the window opposite his, and tries to get to know her. They eventually hook up in what seems like just his fantasy, leading to a role reversal telegraphed in the title.
Finale is called "The Fix", structured as a two-parter by way of including two full sex scenes. There's a comical feel to the set-up, as incredibly sexy Julie Rage in her lingerie tries to get Michael J. Cox's attention, but he's glued to his tv set. Trying very, very hard, she eventually gets him to make love to her, including an acrobatic upside-down position, but Mike is only interested in getting off himself, not attending to her pleasure. As a result, she destroys the tv by pouring a 6-pack of beer on it.
Cox cannot keep himself amused without his trusty television, but finds distraction by watching the neighbors in silhouette (behind blinds) across the way, "Rear Window" style. He can't see exactly what's going on (which adds to his interest in watching it) while we can witness hot Monique DeMoan pleasuring herself with dildo and vibrator, before her partner Steven St. Croix humps her. The ending is somewhat cryptic.
This could have been a real winner had PT built up a sense of danger or violence to create a thriller, but as light erotic entertainment it's okay.
