I suspect few folk, even porn addicts, are wading through the immense oeuvre of a top auteur like Nica Noelle, but I've found that such immersion rewards the viewer with unexpected discoveries. This first entry in Nica's strap-on series for the late, lamented Frisco-based production house Girl Candy was quite unusual in content and eminently enjoyable. (She had previously made 3 of these harness epics for her own Sweetheart Video outfit.)
The surprise is that, with penis-substitute in tow, most of the 4 segments deal with what would border on rape in a boy/girl setting but which plays here indulgently as merely seduction on steroids, to totally botch my metaphor. I'm talking about roles, not so much gender here, but it's true that other than a "women in stir" movie the subject of woman rapes woman is not a topic encountered in either mainstream cinema or its black sheep relative Adult. Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett may have had their ups and downs in their classic lesbian movie together, but just as later on in Cate's "Carol" nothing ever crosses the line.
Tone is set in the initial segment starring Dana Vespoli and Dani Daniels. At the last minute Dani decides to drop out of a beauty pageant where Dana is acting as the den mother, and the older D reacts with a big dildo forced into Dani's womb. It plays like rape (Dana declaring "you like cock so much?") but Dani so quickly joins in the fun and brings Dana to orgasm without the need for a toy that all's well in Lesbian Pornland. In fact, part of the lesbian rape fantasy here is the moaning and facial expressions of pain on the part of Dani that are equally representing pleasure. As usual, Dana keeps on her tank top, a 99% of her roles fetish to not strip bare her midriff even though she has nothing alarming to hide.
Going further than this segment is a tantalizing episode starring Michelle Lay set in Nica's mansion with spiral staircase that she immortalized in "Immoral Proposal" for Sweet Sinner. The star of that opus, April O'Neil, is single mom Lay's babysitter. Lay's blind date (with a fella) goes sour fast so she returns to the manse early and catches April trying on her employer's lingerie and even checking out her purple strap-on. Lay uses latter instrument to lay the young girl, and once again, O'Neil gives as good as she gets.
So forced sex does not constitute rape at all in these episodes. Lay appears once again in a non-sex cameo as a married mom whose daughter Kara Price is goldbricking. She's spending a semester in bed, pretending to be in pain after a car accident. Her nurse/therapist Francesca Le' figures out the ruse and whips out a strap-on dildo to punish the kid. As emphasized in the BTS short subject of interviews included on the DVD, Price is used to being the dominant top, but enjoyed this rare excursion as bottom sub courtesy of busty Francesca's hot performance with her,
Final episode is almost in a kindler, gentler mode, relying on superstar Sinn Sage, dressed mannishly as a tipoff, bringing her lesbian girlfriend in line: Maddy O'Reilly showing promise in a very early role in her career. Premise is that Maddy is breaking up with Sinn in order to check out the male population, not content with the dickless nature of Sapphic lovemaking. We all know the remedy for that, and Sinn's rather violent approach is in keeping with what's gone before in the video, but it's clearly a consensual situation between the two characters.
