Anecdotes
Producers were forced to push filming three times as they were unable to find their Irene. They searched all over Canada and the US, in closed casting calls, open casting calls and even in high schools. Star Michelle McLeod was submitted through the US casting agency and producers knew she was perfect. They were shocked to find out, not only is Michelle Canadian, but she lives in Toronto.

Gaffes
In the beginning, when the photos in the yearbook are shown, the names and photos in the top row do not match each other: there are four names but five photos. Also, there is one male name, but photos of two males.

Irene is a hoot!

Irene wants to be a cheerleader and she'll do just about anything including licking the boys locker room floor. Irene ends up getting suspended and volunteering at the senior home next to the high school.

Irene ends up lifting the spirits of the residents by getting them to tryout for a reality show with a dance routine.

Really good story and funny cast.

Worth a watch - you will be entertained!
