The network ran the episodes out of order, showing about seventeen minutes of the concluding episode on the night when the second episode was supposed to be run, thus giving away much of the plot. John Belushi noted this in his Saturday Night Live monologue on the following Saturday.

A television mini-series about women in the sixties.

Moderately interesting mini-series based on the best seller of the same name. A tale of three women in the '60's, the mini-series is perhaps best remembered for the network accidently showing the series out of order. The public did notice so we can safely assume the story was holding everyone's attention. Season Hubley at her loveliest.
