Frankiie is a little too neurotic. After a while it is more annoying than funny.
This miscommunications were funny at times and cliche at other times.
There were some funny lines. "Reign of terriers." That whole sequence brought out some lol's even though some of the puns were bad too.
There are multiple romantic relationships either going on or springing up.
I like Rachael Leigh Cook and Brandon Penny together.
The story is a little thin but I don't think it's intended to be anything complicated.
I have to admit there was an element of suspense for the ending. I really wasn't sure how it was going to go.
We are in the vineyard with our two favorite love birds. What new concoction of a plot will we have? There is a gorgeous blond in the picture now and she's dating his brother. She is great.
The leads have secrets from each other this time around. Unbeknownst to the other, they are actually improving themselves in order to be the best partner they can be for each other. They are now engaged, but must hide it because of his sibling announcing an engagement right before they have the chance. So this movie is all about the subterfuge and sneaking around back and forth, and people being suspicious of stuff and so on...
So the family all gets together and we are in wine country, so the story revolves around them getting together and having good times and falling more deeply in love as life continues. Will they marry, or will this just not work out? The parents put in their two cents...
A couple of people know all the secrets and try to help keep our leads on track and not going crazy trying to juggle lies and deceit and all that good stuff (it's all with good intentions).
Seems our couple is not so compatible as they thought...
It's ok, certainly not the best of this series of "vineyard" films.
¿Sabías que...?
- CuriosidadesThe first Hallmark Channel film to depict a same-sex relationship on the screen. A male couple appears briefly but prominently in the compatibility seminar sequence, proudly displaying their finished product as Nate and Frankie's shelf topples.
- PifiasLexi's surname was previously mentioned as being Moreau (Patricia, Lexi's mother, is a Baldwin by birth, not in her marriage). Lexi is referred to as Lexi Baldwin both by Marco and in the end credits.
- Citas
Patricia Moreau: Charles, you're my brother. And Carla, we've known each other since we were kids. So really, I say this with nothing but love and respect. You really gotta let this go.
Charles Baldwin: Well, I just think...
Patricia Moreau: That this would be a beautiful spot for Lexi and Marco to get married, right?
Carla DeLuca: No matter what Charles says, I think it will be lovely.
Patricia Moreau: Thank you.
Charles Baldwin: It'll be more than lovely. It will be spectacular.
Carla DeLuca: Simply perfect.
Charles Baldwin: Couldn't be any better.
