Early in the movie, Henk talks about how when he sleeps he can still see the Tetris pieces in his dreams. This is actually a real phenomenon called the Tetris Effect. The term was coined by journalist Jeffrey Goldsmith in 1994 to describe when something that one focuses on for extended periods of time starts appearing in their thoughts, perceptions, and dreams.

When reading the fax number of ELORG in Moscow Henk mentions the dialing code of Moscow as "495", which is the current code. In the soviet times until Russia 2005 it was "095".

American dramatized, but most is true so very good

Normally I don't like these movies as they would take the liberty with history to much to make it dramatic. And Tetris does this a bit. Not everything is true and it is very dramatic as Americans like to make them. But the movie is just a businessman trying to do business, so somehow you have to try and make it interesting of course.

The thing is: almost everything is true. Which makes it fascinating to watch for all the history in it. A very interesting story.

So no, this is not the next blockbuster, but it is fun and is true to the source material. So definitly worth watching.

Just dont expect an amazing multilayered film.
