Mariners sign shortstop Rich Aurilia

SEATTLE -- The Seattle Mariners have signed free-agent shortstop Rich Aurilia to a one-year contract, general manager Bill Bavasi announced Thursday.
Aurilia, 32, hit .277 with 13 home runs last season with the San Francisco Giants. Terms of the deal were not disclosed by the team.
