Am I required to get a Players Club Card?
A Players Club Card is not mandatory. However, guests who play with their card may qualify for offers, discounts, invitations to special events/promotions, and much more.

Are there slot machines?
No. Our HRMs (historical racing machines) are state-of-the-art gaming devices with many recognizable themes, however, all the game outcomes are pari-mutuel and based on historical horse racing results.

Are there table games?
Ellis Park Racing & Gaming offers electronic HRMs (historical racing machines) for gaming. Table games are not allowed in the state of Kentucky.

How many gaming machines are there?
Ellis Park currently features 300 gaming machines, and in 2025, Owensboro Racing & Gaming will introduce an additional 600 state-of-the-art historical racing machines.

How old do you have to be to enter the gaming floor?
You must be 21 years old or older with valid government-issued photo ID.

Are pets allowed?
Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited except trained service animals for guests with disabilities.

Can you smoke on the gaming floor?
Our gaming floor features both smoking and non-smoking areas.
