If a perimeter shooter misses, or makes more shots than normal for him, the rebounders from both teams will be affected by greater or fewer opportunities to increase their scores, as well.

We are studying these smaller incremental changes of pressure that occur during games. These barometric pressure "ups and downs" may seem small to the public, but they are a common cause of pain in joints, headache triggers, bladder, stomach and bowel expansion issues. We are studying these hourly occurances in terms of how much of an effect they may have on the air and therefore shooting adjustments.
As of January 2025, we have enough data to verify that when more thrust is required there is a substantial drop-off in shooting percentage accuracy and when lesser thrust is required, there is a lesser degree of drop-off.
