Other Football Notes
Linebacker Ryan Reynolds suffered a partially torn lateral collateral ligament in his right knee during Wednesday's practice. Recovery should take six to eight weeks putting him out for the remainder of the spring but back in time for the fall. After sitting out last season with a torn ACL in his left knee you have to start wondering if he might be injury prone.
Left tackle Phil Loadholt will also set out the remainder of spring practice with a turf toe injury.
OU also picked up their 21st player in the 2007 class on Wednesday with the signing of 6-3 255lb Lawton Mac defensive tackle Jordan Nix.
