Just days before hosting 12 recruits at Hoya Madness, Georgetown coach John Thompson is in Vermont to watch 2016 PF Samuel Japhet-Mathias. Japhet-Mathias arrived from England to play for Vermont Academy on September 23rd and has already garnered a top of Division I interest and is shooting up 2016 recruiting lists.

Skal Labissiere is the #7 ranked player in the class of 2015 and Georgetown will meet with him at his home in Memphis Tuesday. Labissiere already took his official visit to Georgetown for the groundbreaking of the Thompson Center.

Ivan Rabb will plan official visits after in-home from UNC
According to ZagsBlog, 2015 PF Ivan Rabb (one of Georgetown's top 2 remaining 2015 targets) will wait until after his upcoming visit from Roy Williams and the North Carolina Tar Heels to schedule his official visits. There is no date currently set for his Carolina visit. In addition to Georgetown and UNC, UCLA, Kentucky, Kansas, Cal, and Arizona are all hard after Rabb.

SB Nation has combined the recruiting rankings from each of the four major recruiting outlets into a composite ranking of the 2015 recruiting class. Three Georgetown targets and one Georgetown commit are in the top 50. PF Ivan Rabb is 6th, C Skal Labissiere is 7th, and PG P.J. Dozier is 26th. Center Jesse Govan, already committed to the Hoyas is 45th.

Skal Labissiere to visit Georgetown this weekend
Per the Memphis Commercial Appeal and 247Sports, 5-Star 2015 power forward, Skal Labissiere will visit Georgetown this week. Labissiere is also scheduled to take official visits to Kentucky, Tennessee, and Baylor after already taking an official visit at North Carolina. He will also take an unofficial visit to Memphis. Memphis is widely considered the favorite to land Labissiere.

As expected, 2015 SG Haanif Cheatham has chosen to play for Marquette. Jordan Brand was wrong. The Hoyas are still in on and have visits scheduled with a number of high profile 2015 targets.

Cheatham is choosing between Marquette, Georgetown, and Cal. He's expected to pick Marquette, but perhaps Jordan knows something we don't. UPDATE: As expected, Cheatham has chosen Marquette.
