CAMP DETAILS -July 7-11 -ages 5-6 -9am-Noon (bring snack & water bottle) -Theme: Moana -Friday performance at 11am -Location: MDPC (11612 Memorial Dr. Houston, TX 77024) -Room: Amphitheater ABOUT THE CAMP: -Campers take daily dance, singing, and acting class -Campers audition and rehearse a musical theater show throughout the week -Daily craft time and games -Every student gets the opportunity to have a singing solo and acting line in the show! -Performance on Friday for family and friends  -Students with and without disabilities welcomed! Camp is located at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church. Park by Community Life Center. Drop off and Pick up at the Amphitheater. NOTE ABOUT INCLUSION/TEACHER AIDS: Students should participate independently for most of the camp activities. Volunteers and teachers will be present to assist when needed! Camps are staffed with 1 lead teacher, 1 assistant teachers, and 1-2 volunteers per 12 campers. Maximum of ~12 students in this age bracket. We do not have a nurse on staff. We are not certified to administer prescription medication. All students MUST be able to use the restroom by themselves. Explore play environments, movement games and parachute activities in this mixed-age class designed to support the physical, social and language development of your children. This class is suitable for children of all ages.

Drop in for some extra fun! You and your enrolled child(ren) can enjoy additional opportunities to explore the Play equipment and socialize with friends at the location your child(ren) are members of. We welcome all children, at all levels of development! Come explore our playscapes, for some unguided play time. Spend quality time with them doing what they love to do, and mostly run out some energy!

Preschool Prep is a toddler's first step to preschool! This class lets parents and children play together, explore, and practice all the skills they'll need for their school days ahead. Practice a gentle separation time during class, where teachers lead children in a short social time without their parents. Preschool Prep with HOMER is a NEW Academic Class for Ages 2-3! Children will learn early literacy, math, independence, and social skills. This is an early learning program designed for children ages 2 through 6. Preschool Prep is a transitional class for 2- to 3-year-olds that uses children's interests to help build both knowledge and foundational skills. Another special element of this program is its easy extension from classroom to home, as we provide at-home parent tips and HOMER app suggestions to encourage learning outside of class time.

Be inspired together and make colorful memories in the Gymboree Art Studio. Sculpt with a giant block of clay, design a family tree, paint a mural or make a creation of your very own. Art classes are suitable for children ages 18 months - 5 years.

It’s all about opposites! Loud and quiet, fast and slow, up and down! Contrasting ‘themes’ means your child is learning better ways to communicate. Explore the different equipment pieces each week to support building problem solving, navigating skills, and confidence.
