Maryland Court of Appeals hosts Mock Trial State Championship

 

WHAT: The 2018 Mock Trial State Championship

WHO: Maryland’s top two high school mock trial teams will face off before Court of Appeals Judge Joseph M. Getty.

The championship will feature the winners of the semifinals, which will be held Thursday, April 19, at the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, with Court of Special Appeals Judge Timothy E. Meredith and Court of Special Appeals Judge Dan Friedman presiding. The semifinalists are Allegany High School (Allegany County), Centennial High School (Howard County), James M. Bennett High School (Wicomico County), and Richard Montgomery High School (Montgomery County).

WHEN: Friday, April 20, 10 a.m.

WHERE: Maryland Court of Appeals historic courtroom, Robert C. Murphy Courts of Appeal Building, 361 Rowe Blvd., Annapolis.
