Milwaukee Falcons
The Milwaukee Falcons played just over one season, between 1959-61, in the IHL. They did not make the playoffs, and over their 84 games in existence, had a combined record of 25-57-2. As it turned out, they only played 17 games in their second season, as heavy financial losses forced the team to cease operation on Nov 26, 1960. Unfortunately home attendance during their time in Milwaukee remained in the low 1000’s for each home game. The team was turned over to the league, and they attempted to find a new home for them in Green Bay, but this attempt was rebuffed by the existing owners of the Green Bay Bobcats, which were a non-pro team.
