Vancouver Venom
In 1995, the Vancouver Venom joined the newly created North American League. Unfortunately, the existence of this new league was woefully short, appearing to only play 2 league games before folding. Neither of these games included the newly formed Venom. As a point of interest, the league may have had the only professional hockey team based in Mexico, the Mexico City Toreros, who did actually play in both the “official” league games, losing both to the Eugene Snowcats. While the Venom never actually hit the ice, they did leave behind an interesting jersey design.
