HG Toys

Hgtoys starscream products.jpg

Licensor HG Toys released quite a few pieces of Transformers merchandise in 1984, including several sculpted in Starscream's likeness. All of these items shared the same basic sculpt, modified to fit the piece of merchandise in question.

  • Stamp Bot (1984)
A small, non-poseable figurine of Starscream with a rubber stamp on the base. An alternate version of Starscream was also available with fewer paint applications and Autobot symbols on its wings!
  • Zipper Clip (1984)
A smaller version of the Starscream sculpt, designed to be attached to a coat zipper.
  • Clip On (1984)
A pocket clip depicting Starscream.

3-D Jigsaw Stand Up Puzzle

Standup starscream puzzle.jpg
  • Starscream (1984)
Released by Warren, this piece of Starscream merchandise was a jigsaw puzzle in disguise! This 75 piece puzzle forms a 13" by 20" battle scene of Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker battling Optimus Prime, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. Once broken down, 28 of these pieces could be assembled into a three-dimensional model of Starscream standing over 8" tall in robot mode as well as being assembled into jet mode—a progenitor of the 3D Battle-Card Game in many respects!

Transformers Milk Caramel

Milk caramel starscream.jpg
  • Starscream (1985)
One of Kabaya's first Transformers candy toy lines, the Transformers Milk Caramel series featured small rubber figures, similar to the later-released Decoys, but smaller, flatter and based more on the toys, rather than their animation models. Starscream was available in numerous different colors.

Transformers Choco

(thumbnail)
No, no, no, I said green screen!
  • Starscream (1985)
One of the first of many snap-together candy toy model kits released by Kabaya during the Generation 1 era, this small version of Starscream was available as in various solid colors as part of the Transformers Choco range, coming packaged with small "Chocolate Dots". Owing to its diminutive size, it could only transform between robot and jet modes by being disassembled and put back together in different configurations. The figure was apparently also available through capsule machines.

Transformers Gum

Kabaya gum starscream.jpg
  • Starscream (1985)
    • Accessories: Left and right fists, 2 missile launchers, landing gear
Starscream was also available as part of the larger Transformers Gum range of figures. Released in the first wave of the series and standing at about four inches tall, he was moulded from red, black, and grey plastic and featured stickers for detail. Unlike his smaller Choco counterpart, as was standard for the Gum figures, he is fully transformable, essentially being a scaled down version of the actual Starscream toy.
This Starscream figure was later re-released in 1997 by a Korean company named Toon Town, in a two-pack with the "Transformers Gum" version of Sideswipe.

Kabaya-Starscream.jpg
  • Starscream (2011)
Released in the third wave of the revived Transformers Gum series in 2010, this transforming model kit of Starscream is made from red, blue, and silver plastic, with stickers for detail. He's based on the Henkei Starscream release.

Decoy

(thumbnail)
Not a mis-colored Skywarp
  • Destron Hero Collection 22 (multi-pack, 1985)
This small purple rubber figurine of Starscream was released in Japan as part of a large multi-pack of similar figures, which were used as playing pieces for Transformers board games. The figure features a number etched into its back which is the sum total of Starscream's Tech Spec ratings, which served some function in the gameplay the figures were used for. A peach-colored version of the figure could be found packed in various other multi-packs the following year.
  • Starscream (1987)
    • Decoy number: 35
The Starscream figurine was later brought over to Hasbro markets as part of the Decoy promotion, largely identical to the Japanese release except for the fact that the number on his back was replaced with a simple "checklist" number (35, in Starscream's case). Like all Decepticon Decoys, he was a randomly-chosen pack-in available with the carded Throttlebots, Stunticons, Combaticons and Terrorcons, and was, very early on in the promotion, available in an alternate red coloration that was only packed in with the Throttlebots. Unsurprisingly, this red figurine is much rarer.

Parody Deformed

(thumbnail)
"Don't push me, Megatron, my desire for cuteness is as great as yours!"
  • Starscream (1990)
A small red and white, non-transforming super deformed model kit of Starscream was available as part of Kabaya's "Parody Deformed" line of candy toys. The tenth figure in the series, he came with a "PDTF Comic" comic about himself, "Good Luck! Starscream!!", and something that could charitably be described as "chocolate".

Super Collection Figure

(thumbnail)
The clear one makes for a nicely inexpensive "ghost" version if you don't wanna hunt the one below.
  • Starscream (2000)
    • Act: 1
    • Accessories: Stand
A three-inch tall PVC figurine of Starscream was available as part of the first "Act" of Takara's Super Collection Figure line. Like all the figures in the wave, it was available as both a standard full color figure and a clear plastic version, one of each of which was available in a standard case of twelve blindpacked figures.
This figure was redecoed into Super Collection Figure Thundercracker and Skywarp (maybe), Heroes of Cybertron Sunstorm and Air Warrior, and retooled to become Thrust, Ramjet and Dirge.

SCF ghost starscream.jpg
Starscream's figurine was recast in translucent plastic and painted in clear-paints to represent his ghostly form from the third season of the Generation 1 cartoon. It was released as a rare "Secret Figure" in the fifth, Masterforce-themed wave of the Super Collection Figure series, packed at a ratio of one in every ten cases (which figure -if any in specific- it replaced in the lucky case is currently unknown).

(thumbnail)
Pre-gray'd for Galvatron's convenience.
Starscream was retooled for a third and final release in the eighth Act of the Super Collection Figure line (the last of the "Generation 1" themed Acts). Like the ghost figure, he was only available as a rare "Secret Figure", presumably released in the same 1-per-every-10-cases ratio as other Secret Figures. This version features a new head and arms with the crown, shoulderpads and cape from his coronation scene in The Transformers: The Movie. He's also rendered in a medium gray plastic rather than the original's bright white.
Luckily for fans, this version of Starscream saw normal release in Hasbro's Heroes of Cybertron (see below), a much easier-to-obtain and cheaper option.

Heroes of Cybertron

HOC Starscream.jpg
  • Starscream (2002)
When the Super Collection Figure series was imported to become Hasbro's Heroes of Cybertron line, the figures were all cast entirely in translucent colored plastic, then painted over, save for the eyes and a small patch on the back of their heads, giving them all a light-piping gimmick. Unlike the Japanese figures, they were sold in individual blister packaging, with character profile cards.
Released in the first wave of Heroes of Cybertron, Starscream has a number of small but significant color differences from his initial Super Collection Figure release (see above). The white has been replaced with a light gray, his face is now medium-gray, his "pec vents" are the same dark gray as his other detailing rather than black, a white stripe has been added to his wing deco (as opposed to unpainted white plastic), the Decepticon symbols are purple rather than the odd blue of the SCF, and the connector points for the wings are light gray rather than torso-matching red. The end result is a figurine that is significantly more accurate to the original animation model than the SCF version.

HOC Starscream Crown.jpg
  • Starscream with Crown (2002)
This Heroes of Cybertron release, in the fifth and final wave of the original line, saw the SCF chase figure of Starscream in his coronation gear reach a much wider audience. Deco-wise, he is nigh-identical to the SCF version... well, aside from the obvious "clear plastic painted over" angle, which leaves him in a slightly-brighter medium gray (though still darker than the normal Heroes release). Much more obvious is that the Decepticon symbols on his wings are now "right-side up," the only version of SCF/Heroes Starscream to have his symbols this way.
He also came packaged with the left leg of the fifth wave's Metroplex "build-a-figure".

(thumbnail)
Leader of the pack.
  • Decepticon Air Cavalry Troop Builder Set (OTFCC exclusive, 2003)
The original Starscream figurine was re-released again in this six-pack of figures available exclusively at OTFCC 2003. He came packaged with Heroes of Cybertron versions of Thundercracker, Skywarp, and three Air Warriors.
While the three named Seekers in the set were originally intended to have a sparkly paint job to differentiate them from the normal retail versions, that ended up not happening and they ended up basically the same.

Mega Super Collection Figure

(thumbnail)
Just keep it away from any reformatted megalomaniacs.
  • Starscream (2002)
  • ID number: MegaSCF TF 07
  • Accessories: Left & right open hands, left & right clenched fists, right fist w/ Megatron, left & right shoulderpads, cape, alternate head w/ crown
  • Known designers: Kazutami Yasuhiko (TakaraTomy)
Mega Super Collection Figure Starscream is a highly articulated non-transforming PVC action figure. Standing at five inches tall, Starscream features several interchangeable fists, including one clutching Megatron in gun mode, and a full compliment of coronation gear, including two shoulderpads, a real fabric cape that attaches to them, and an alternate head wearing his Crown of Leadership.
This mold, minus accessories, was supposed to be used to make Skywarp, but the figure was never released.

Hard Hero

(thumbnail)
Caught mid-pelvic thrust.
  • Starscream (2002)
A cold-cast porcelain Starscream bust measuring six inches in height with a nine-inch wingspan. The bust was fifth in Hard Hero's main series of Transformers busts, and was limited to 5000 pieces. An additional 100 pieces were signed by sculptor Jason Ray.

MyClone

(thumbnail)
Every Transformers fangirl owns this.
  • Starscream (2003)
    • ID number: MTF003
    • Accessories: Display base
Released in the third wave of the MyClone line of Transformers PVC figures, this adorable little Starscream comes with a hexagonal red display stand, which can link up with the identical stands included with other MyClone figures. Starscream's modular design is common to all MyClone figures, allowing his parts to be mixed and matched with those of any other figure.
This mold was also used to make MyClone Thundercracker.

Q-Robo Collection

Qrobo starscream.jpg
  • Starscream (2003)
A super-deformed PVC of Starscream was released as part of the Q-Robo Collection. Like all the figures in the series, it was sold blindpacked in a plastic capsule, featured articulation in the neck and shoulders, and was also available in a translucent purple color scheme.

Generation 1 Figure-Collection

(thumbnail)
"Hey! Hey! ...Betcha can't guess who I am!"
  • Starscream (2003)
    • Japanese ID number: D-2
    • Accessories: Display base
At only one inch in height, this Starscream "bottlecap" figurine (so named because its display base is the size of a bottlecap) was one of fourteen blindpacked figures available in Kabaya's Transformers Generation 1 Figure-Collection. The figure was rendered in a "retro" black and white color scheme, and came with a leaflet, personalized with cartoon screen captures.

History Collection

History collection starscream.jpg
  • Starscream (2004)
    • Accessories: Display base
Takara produced this PVC figurine of Starscream as part of their History Collection. Despite its diminutive size, this two-piece full-color figure features articulated shoulders.

Palisades

PalisadesStarscream.jpg
  • Starscream (Palisades, 2005)
Starscream is a six-inch-tall polystone statue with articulated head and arms. He can stand normally or use a stand to take on a "hovering" pose. Starscream was sculpted by 3L Creation Group from a design by George Tremarco.
This statue was later redecoed as Skywarp, Sunstorm, Thundercracker, and the Ghost of Starscream.

PalisadesGhostStarscream.jpg
  • Ghost of Starscream (Palisades, 2005)
A Previews-exclusive clear redeco of the Starscream statue, the Ghost of Starscream is a six-inch-tall polystone statue with articulated head and arms. He can stand normally or use a stand to take on a "hovering" pose. Limited to 300 pieces, Ghost of Starscream was sculpted by 3L Creation Group from a design by George Tremarco.[1]

Titanium Series

(thumbnail)
Stop, in the name of love...
  • Starscream (3" Robot Masters, 2006)
    • Accessories: Pistol, "cloud" base, Display stand
Released in the second wave of "Robot Masters", Titanium Series Starscream is a small, non-transforming die-cast metal figurine, based upon his Generation 1 cartoon appearances. He is sculpted holding a pistol in his left hand (Why? He's got guns on his arms!) and holding up his palm outward with his right, while using his jets to fly up.
This mold was also used to make Titanium Thundercracker.

Kiss Players

(thumbnail)
This may explain her.
  • Atari-scream (2007)
A redeco of the PVC figurine of Atari Hitotonari released the previous year, this black-costumed version of the figure represents Atari while she was possessed by Starscream, as seen in the Information Administration Teletraan 15 Go! Go! manga. It was available only as an online-order exclusive from Dengeki Hobby magazine.

Robot Heroes

(thumbnail)
He's cute when he betrays you.
  • Mirage & Starscream (Two-pack, 2007)
Robot Heroes Starscream is a two inch high figure sculpted in a super deformed style and articulated at the shoulders. He comes packed with Mirage.
This figure was later redecoed into (guess what) Thundercracker and Skywarp.

  • Starscream (Single-pack, 2008)
In some countries outside of North America, Starscream was released individually in a blindpack with no notable changes.

Boss Coffee

(thumbnail)
Megatron is no more! I, Starscream, am now the Boss!
  • Starscream (2008)
A non-transforming PVC figure of Starscream was released as part of a promotion by Boss Coffee. The small figure was randomly included with single cans of the company's "Rainbow Mountain Blend" coffee, contained in a plastic capsule affixed to the top of can which then became a display base for the figurine once removed. Starscream features articulation at the shoulders and waist, and came with a small catalog leaflet that could be folded up and attached to the lid/base to form a diorama background for added display value.
  • Starscream (2008)
A larger, metallic gold version of Starscream was also part of the promotion. Nearly twice as tall as the smaller figure, it was not merely an upsized version, but an entirely different sculpt, with a notably broader wingspan. This Starscream was randomly included with two-packs of Rainbow Mountain Blend coffee cans, which featured a double-wide plastic capsule to hold him.

Attacktix

(thumbnail)
Elephantiasis of the blaster
  • Starscream
The Attacktix Starscream game piece was to be a small figure depicting his robot mode. A missile-type piece, he would have featured an oversized null-ray missile launcher on his right arm. Starscream would have been a Captain-class piece worth 30 points.
Hasbro displayed Starscream at a few conventions, but he was ultimately canceled alongside the rest of the Attacktix line.

BB-canceledattacktix.png

Game over.
This Attacktix item has been canceled, with no current plans for release.

3D Battle-Card Game

3DBattleCard ClassicStarscream.jpg
  • Classic Starscream (2007)
A 42-point "rare" character in the 3D Battle-Card Game's "Energon Wars" expansion, "Classic" Starscream "transforms" into a grey and red fighter jet with a color scheme based on his Classics toy. He uses the same parts layout as Movie Starscream, Dreadwing, Thundercracker and Jetfire, and Generation 1 Skywarp and Ramjet.

Sota Toys

  • Transformers Chess Set (2007)
Two identical Starscream pieces were to be the Decepticon-side Knights on a chess set based on Generation 1, but the set apparently never saw release.
Your bargaining posture is highly dubious.

Proceed on your way to oblivion.
This item has been canceled, with no current plans for release.

Revoltech

(thumbnail)
Let's just hope Pat Lee didn't get royalties from this.
  • Starscream (2008)
    • Yamaguchi Series number: 046
    • Accessories: Megatron gun mode, 2 closed fists (left & right), open right hand, pistol grip right hand, pointing left hand, display stand
A non-transforming but highly articulated Starscream action figure, Revoltech Starscream uses the Revoltech "revolver joints" for maximum articulation. It comes with his twin null-ray cannons, a gun mode Megatron, a posing stand, and three extra hands (a Megatron-holding right hand, an open-palmed right hand, and a left hand for pointing or disco-dancing).

Transformers - Mini Bust

(thumbnail)
Only half here and I still look this good.
  • Starscream (Diamond Select, 2008)

Mighty Muggs

(thumbnail)
Bet that they got it wrong because of the faction symbols?
  • Starscream (2009)
    • Accessories: Wings
This super deformed, non-transformable PVC figure uses the standard Mighty Muggs body template, with swivel joints in Starscream's neck and limbs. Although Hasbro stock photography (right) shows him with his wings pointing down, they are detachable and are meant to be put in the standard upwards position.

MightyMuggs 2018 Starscream.jpg
  • Starscream (2018)
    • ID number: 04
Somehow even more deformed than the original Mugg, this new evergreen-inspired Starscream has sculpted wings and a unique helmet. Pressing down on his helmet will cause him to switch to one of three expressions: neutral, angry, and "about to be hit by Megatron".

G.I. Joe and the Transformers

(thumbnail)
A whole lotta Latta.
  • Starscream Sky Striker (XP-21F) with Cobra Commander (2011)
    • Accessories: two AIM-9 short-range missiles, two AIM-7 medium-range missiles, two AIM-54 long-range missiles, TARPS pod
An exclusive release for San Diego Comic-Con 2011, this is a redeco of the 2011 new-mold G.I. Joe Sky Striker in Starscream's colours. It includes Cobra Commander in a flight suit, wielding a "human-scaled" Megatron pistol. After more than a quarter of a century, it represents just the second official mingling of the G.I. Joe and Transformers franchises in toy form.
As well as various detachable components, Starscream comes with an enormous number of stickers, including Autobot kill-markings; "D-22" markings; multiple symbols for "Decepticon Airforces" and "Jetron Airforces" (which include designs drawing on Starscream's crown from The Transformers: The Movie and the original "tetrajet" design of the G1 Seekers); "Waspinator", "Starscream Ghost Attack" and "Kremzeek Attack" symbols; fake rubsigns (in both "un-rubbed" and "half-rubbed" forms); and a combined Decepticon/Cobra insignia, originally used during promotion of the G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers miniseries.
The last one of us alive will have the privilege of being buried with it.

D-Style-Starscream.jpg
  • Starscream (09-2015)
    • ID number: 47
    • Accessories: Scowling face, smirking face, shouting face, open hand, closed hands, mini F15 jet
A super deformed Starscream model kit produced by Kotobukiya as part of their franchise-spanning D-Style line. Like Megatron he comes with three different faces and in line with the rest of the line, comes with a mini alt mode figure, in this case an F15 jet. He also contains a replaceable open hand. His chest contains flip-up panels that reveal missile racks based on the weapons seen in the Generation 1 episode "Fire on the Mountain". The null rays can be removed and wielded as guns, and he can also hold Megatron's gun.
In order to get the figure looking like the promotional photos, required paint applications include coloring the screaming mouth, chest fans and panel lines, missile rack surrounds, null ray panel lines, and knee vents all in black. Eyes and cockpit come in translucent colored plastic and can also be painted to improve their look. Finally, the mini F15 jet comes as a single grey piece and is missing all coloring.

Furai Model

FlameToys-FuraiModel-02-Starscream.jpg
  • Starscream (November 2018)
    • Number: 02
    • Additional parts/accessories: 1 pair of Trigger-finger hands, 1 pair of open-palm hands
Released as part of the Furai Model line by Flame Toys, Starscream is an articulated, non-transforming, Voyager Class-sized Gunpla-style model kit. He is molded in red, blue, light gray, dark gray ABS plastic, and translucent yellow (with one of the parts being painted red) for the eyes and cockpit. His Null-rays can be detached as handheld blasters.
For straight-assembly builders, Starscream features a sheet of foil stickers for detail (notably the wings), though the kit can be panel-lined and touched-up with several panel-lining and paint markers (water/acrylic-based markers are recommended, as alcohol-based markers like Gundam Markers can potentially damage the ABS plastic). If one desires; the kit's pieces, aside from the translucent parts, can be fully coated with spray paints to recreate the finished sample seen in the stock photos.
This kit was redecoed as Thundercracker and Acid Storm.

Metal Earth

Metal Earth Legends Starscream.jpg
  • Starscream (Legends, 2019)
    • ID number: MEM060

ReAction

  • Starscream (2020)
    • Accessories: Gun-mode Megatron
Released in the first wave of Super7's line of multi-property 3.75-inch "retro" action figures, ReAction Starscream is a non-converting 3 3/4-inch action figure based on his appearance in the original cartoon, with 5 points of articulation (swivel neck, shoulders, hips) and holes in his feet for use with some variety of stand. He comes with a gun-mode Megatron accessory which can only be held in his right hand.
As with all releases in the ReAction toyline, Starscream comes packaged on a small cardback that emulates the nostalgic packaging style of Kenner's Star Wars action figures from the late 1970s to early '80s.
He has not been redecoed to hell and back, or at all, much to the surprise of basically everyone.

  • King Starscream (2021)
Released in the fourth wave of Transformers ReAction, this is a heavily-retooled version of the Starscream figure, now featuring a new crown, cape, and shoulderpads as seen in his disrupted coronation in The Transformers: The Movie.

  • Ghost of Starscream (2024)
Released in the eighth wave of ReAction figures, this returns to the tooling of the original figure but now cast in sparkly translucent plastic.

R.E.D. [Robot Enhanced Design]

(thumbnail)
⚠️Trade Offer⚠️ I receive coronation; you receive bad comedy
  • Coronation Starscream (2021)
    • Accessories: 2 null rays, 2 alt hands, 2 blast effects, crown, 2 shoulder pads, fabric cape
Released in the third wave of the Transformers R.E.D. line, Coronation Starscream is a non-transforming, 6-inch action figure akin to the ones from the Marvel Legends and Star Wars The Black Series lines. He features over 25 points of articulation and extensive paint operations in an attempt at show-accuracy... or perhaps that should be movie-accuracy, as Starscream is the first R.E.D. figure to be based on The Transformers: The Movie.
Starscream includes two pairs of hands: two closed fists, and two open, grandly gesturing hands. As is the norm, he also features two removeable null ray weapons that mount on his biceps, along with two pinkish-purple blast effects to simulate them firing. And of course, Coronation Starscream would be incomplete without his removeable crown, shoulder pads, and fabric cape accessories to re-enact his signature scene in the movie.
As with all R.E.D. toys, Starscream was a Walmart exclusive in Canada and the United States, and was later made available on Hasbro Pulse in limited quantities.
This mold, minus the coronation accessories, was used to make R.E.D. Thundercracker.

Minimates

  • Starscream (Series 1, 2021)
    • Accessories: Null rays (2), stand
Part of the first wave of Transformers Minimates from Diamond Select Toys, this Starscream is a 2-inch-tall figurine featuring metallic paint, 12-14 points of articulation, and accessories and body parts interchangeable with other Minimates. Due to their small size, all 4 figures in each series are sold in the same blister card.

  • Coronation Starscream (Series 3, 2022)
    • Accessories: Null rays (2), stand
"Coronation" Starscream is a retool of the standard Minimate figure above, now adorned with crown, cape, and shoulderpads.

  • VHS Minimates Box Set (2022)
The original Minimates Starscream tooling was rereleased as part of a San Diego Comic-Con 2022 exclusive 4-pack, featuring more cartoon-accurate matte painted deco. The packaging for this set resembles a Family Home Entertainment VHS tape. Only 2500 of this set were produced.

ULTIMATES!

  • Ghost of Starscream (2022)
    • Accessories: 2 arm cannons, smirking alternate head, toy-based alternate head, closed fists (L & R), gripping hands (L & R), "expressive" hands (L & R)
Part of the first wave of Transformers ULTIMATES! from Super7, Ghost of Starscream is a 7-inch-tall action figure based on Starscream's cartoon model, cast in translucent plastic with glitter mixed into it. He features multi-directional joints at the neck, shoulders, wrists, hips, and ankles; plus swivel biceps, elbows, knees, and a bit of ab crunch. His hands pop out at the wrists so they can be replaced with his additional spare hands in different poses. He comes with three different replaceable head sculpts: a painted "normal" face, a painted smirking face, and a clear-plastic head based on the original Starscream toy.
Preorders opened on January 29 2021, and closed on February 28, with the toys purportedly shipping in winter of that year, but thanks to worldwide manufacturing and shipping delays, actually arriving in May 2022, with buyers finally receiving him in June.

  • Starscream (2023)
    • Accessories: 2 arm cannons, smirking alternate head, toy-based alternate head, closed fists (L & R), gripping hands (L & R), "expressive" hands (L & R), claw, energon cube, Megatron gun, blaster rifle
Reversing the typical release order, the redeco of "Ghost Starscream" now represents the standard living version. Like Ghost Starscream, it includes an alternate head with an angry expression and another that resembles the original toy.
He comes with the seemingly-standard pistol Megatron accessory, but also a pair of deep-cut additions: the claw-hand Starscream had in "Cosmic Rust" and the large machinegun he wielded in "The Core".
Preorders opened on June 8 2022, with toys purportedly shipping the following May... but actually in January 2024.

  • King Starscream (Fallen) (2023)
    • Accessories: 2 arm cannons, smirking alternate head, disintegrating alternate head, closed fists (L & R), gripping hands (L & R), "expressive" hands (L & R), crown
In a change from the sizable squadron of "Coronation" Starscreams offered over the years, "King Starscream (Fallen)" represents the character as he looks when killed by Galvatron. His body is grey and cracked, his cape torn, one set of hands meant to powerlessly grasp at the air, and one of his alternate heads is screaming and partially crumbled.
Preorders were open until January 13, 2023, with the toys purportedly shipping the following Fall but in fact beginning in March 2024.

Threezero

Threezero-MDLX-Starscream.jpg
  • Starscream (MDLX, Q4 2023)
    • Known designers: Kelvin Sau
    • Accessories: wing assembly, two null-ray cannons, two faces (one standard, one creepy), two blades, four pairs of hands (closed, opened, cannon-holding, blade-holding)
The fifth new MDLX mold from Threezero, this version of Starscream is an original design taking inspiration from the original cartoon but with the aesthetics in the vein of the live-action movies. Starscream is a smaller scaled, non-transforming action figure in the vein of contemporary collector-oriented lines like Figma and S.H. Figuarts. Like those lines, the figure is extremely well-articulated and detailed, features interchangeable hands and faces plus accessories. He features two faces (a standard one and a "creepy" one according to the product listing), his ever-present null-ray cannons, and two dagger-like blades. He also features a small assortment of hands, in pairs: closed fists, opened hands, cannon-holding and blade-holding hands.
Like the Hot Toys and Masterpiece iterations before it, this figure's wing assembly can be detached and worn by Optimus Prime in reference to the G1 episode Megatron's Master Plan, Part 1. To this end, both Starscream's and Prime's heads are on balljoints, meaning they can even swap heads if one desires. All the functionality with the above Optimus figure can of course also be applied to his repaints Nemesis Prime and Ultra Magnus.

This item is currently scheduled for release, but is not yet available at mass retail.

  • Bishoujo Series Transformers Starscream (April 2024)
Kotobukiya Bishoujo Series Starscream is a 1/7 scale PVC figure that reimagines the deceitful Air Commander as a cute anime girl (formally termed as a Bishōjo). This version of the character translates various elements of the robot design into fashion and style choices, such as braids where Starscream's head vents would be, a necktie evoking the yellow cockpit, and an enormous shoulder bag resembling the wings. The figure is attached to a purple display base designed after the Decepticon insignia. An alternate sobbing face for the figure, described as Starscream's "Please forgive me, Megatron!" face, was offered to those who pre-ordered from Kotobukiya-managed storefronts.
Starscream's toy was produced as the result of a 2022 fan vote held during Kotobukiya's panel at Anime Expo, winning out over Jazz and Soundwave.
This statue was later recolored to create Bishoujo Series Thundercracker and Skywarp.

The "3-80" Ratchet and "N" ("Needle") Bit of this Beyblade are recolored parts from other Beyblade X tops.
While the completed Beyblade is labeled as Defense Type, the "Starscream" Blade is individually labeled on the back of the packaging as Stamina Type, due to being a retool of the Stamina Type Blade "Arrow Wizard".
