With his crystal-like fortress spaceship, he travels the Universe seeking to accumulate more knowledge and history, which is contained as audiovisual data within his ship. Fiction
Macrocosmic Seekers
Millions of years before 2010, the Seeker was a Quintesson, one of many using the Transformers they created as slaves. The Seeker was unique among his race in that he saw the potential for evolution and the impending freedom of the Transformers. Mocked for his beliefs and fearing the robot rebellion, the Seeker left his race behind. He then became engrossed in the task of collecting all there was to know about the Universe. In the process, he shed his body and his consciousness became one with the data on his fortress spaceship. He eventually returned to his home galaxy and discovered that, true to his predictions, the Transformers had evolved beyond their original status. Four—Galvatron, Cyclonus, Scourge, and Rodimus Prime—in particular interested the Seeker due to their evolution at the hands of greater forces—Unicron and the Matrix of Leadership. A Treasure's True Worth
The Seeker sensed that the four Transformers he desired converged onto the planet of Junk, thanks in part to Scrapheap, and sent his spaceship to the planet. Unending Battle Once at the planet, the Seeker called out for the Autobots and the Decepticons to cease their battle and abducted the four he sought, along with Kup and Scrapheap. The entity placed his objects of desire into four tubes and left the other two elsewhere on the ship. Regardless, the Junkion and the Autobot found their way to the chamber with the tubes. A Treasure Lost The Seeker, amused with Scrapheap's similarity to himself, freely revealed his existence and explained that the four Transformers were kept in stasis at the exact moment where they changed forms, such as Hot Rod's evolution into Rodimus Prime. With this, the Seeker hoped to study their drastic rebirth eternally. Kup did not take kindly to the situation he found himself in and attempted to blast open the capsules, only to be punished by the Seeker accelerating his body to an (even more) decrepit, rusted old age. The Seeker attempted to appeal to Scrapheap's affection for the unique things in the Universe. Scrapheap admitted that the Seeker's machinations have brought about something unique, but the spark of Kup, a noble warrior, was more beautiful and unique. With this sentiment, Scrapheap punched open Rodimus Prime's capsule. Eternal Moment
The Hot Rod-Rodimus Prime being was burst out of the capsule, sending the Seeker into a fury. Using the ship's weapon systems, the Seeker attempted to attack the Autobots, only for their evasion to break open the Decepticons' capsules. Using Megatron-Galvatron's random blast, the Autobots escaped through a wall. Time to Move The Seeker gave the Transformers one last chance to rejoin his collection, only to be rejected. Infuriated, the Seeker turned the weapon systems on the Transformers once again, resulting in the Transformers destroying more and more of the ship. This, in turn, had an adverse effect on the Seeker, whose very being and data were contained all throughout the ship. Cursing the Transformers for destroying so much knowledge, the Seeker reminisced back to his early existence as a Quintesson and faded to nothingness. Those Who Resist A Treasure's True Worth
