Soundblaster (TR)

Soundblaster is a Decepticon Titan Master from the Titans Return portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Soundblaster is the Titan Master partner to Soundwave. He plants a backdoor in the processor of every bot he unites with, allowing Soundwave to steal a constant stream of information from them.

Soundblaster is a retool of Twin Cast, packaged with Soundwave, part of the second wave of Titans Return Leader Class figures. He transforms from a robot resembling Soundwave into Soundwave's head, which is then enclosed by a helmet to bulk it out. He can similarly be used as the head of any other Titans Return Deluxe, Voyager, or Leader Class figure. Soundblaster features ports in his feet that allow him to peg onto various spots on Soundwave's robot, boombox, and base modes, as well as many other Titans Return figures. Initial stock renders show him with a gray torso, but the final toy has a blue torso.

Soundblaster was redecoed to make Legends Soundblaster and Bumblebee Doombox.

Notes

• Soundblaster is named after Soundwave's rebuilt form from The Headmasters. Titans Return Twin Cast follows a similar pattern.
