The Covenant of Primus
The Neutronia colonists fled into space when the Rust Plague struck their planet. Led by Mercury, they discovered the transformation cog of Amalgamous Prime near a black hole and eventually became the Mutacons because of long-term exposure to its power. After the Rust Plague ended, the Mutacons returned to Neutronia, stocked up heavily on energon, then departed into space again in the hopes of finding Amalgamous so they could return his device. 2019 IDW continuity
Neutronia was a distant colony from Cybertron, renowned for its scenic crystals, said to be in every known color. Paragon always wanted to visit it, and see these formations for himself. During the War of the Threefold Spark, Turmoil passed by the planet on his return to Cybertron, and melted it, killing two-thirds of the planet's population, and destroying the famed crystals. After fleeing Decepticon-controlled Cybertron, Cyclonus, having heard that there was still some beauty left on Neutronia, promised the ghost of Paragon that they would visit the planet, after which Paragon could rest in peace. Fate of Cybertron

- "Neutronian" was first used as a species descriptor by the 2008 Breakaway toy bio, which was not noted by this wiki until 13 years later. It is unclear if the location name "Neutronia" being introduced in 2013's The Covenant of Primus is a coincidence or based on a shared internal source from Hasbro.
