Rhythms of Darkness!

Lisa and Spike led Prowl, Jazz, Guzzle, Chainclaw, Inferno, Crossblades, and Getaway as the resistance against Galvatron's forces in New York. When the rest of the world was ready to nuke New York and the Autobots were about to give up, it was Lisa who persuaded them to carry on. After she told Spike how she felt about him (and over 50% of the Autobots had died), Galvatron was whisked away to an alternate past by Hook, Line, and Sinker, leaving Lisa and Spike to plan their lives anew. After the human population of Earth was whisked away to another version of their planet in another dimension by the planet-Transformer Gaea, Elizabeth wound up joining Vroom, Spike, and Crossblades in investigating the mysteries of this new world. Strangely enough, it appeared that although all the cities and animals on this planet were the same as on the old Earth, no humans had called this world home prior to their arrival. Buster Witwicky set them up with an apartment in Yucatan to facilitate their mission, but the group found it difficult to both get themselves employed and investigate a mysterious radio signal burst detected in the area.

As their investigation was going nowhere, Metalhawk joined the group to get them back on track. Elizabeth and the others went out to dinner to talk over their mission statement, only for Elizabeth to be accosted by a mugger after they had finished their meal. When the group told him they had no money, the mugger shot Metalhawk in the chest. Assembly The bullet did the Autobot little harm, though it did betray his human disguise. Elizabeth returned to Spike's side as Vroom and Crossblades restrained the mugger. Before the Autobots could figure out how to deal with their attacker, two officers from the local police force turned up, and took everyone in for questioning. Thankfully, the mugger didn't share what he had seen with the police, for fear of implicating himself in his crime. Furthermore, when Elizabeth's group was interviewed, one of the officers found herself rather captivated by her. The officer gave Elizabeth her phone number as she and her friends were being told they were free to go. As soon as the group exited the building, they were met with another stranger, this one already claiming he knew the Autobots' secret. But he only wanted to deliver a message: an evil force was coming... Insight

Though Elizabeth and company were highly suspicious of the man, they agreed to follow him nonetheless, as he claimed to have a spaceship stashed nearby. Elizabeth assured Spike that she would be able to handle whatever threat the man might pose before he revealed himself to be a Decepticon Pretender. As the Decepticon opened fire on Spike to provoke the Autobots into unveiling their true natures as well, Elizabeth shoved him out of harm's way. While Elizabeth and Spike watched on the sidelines, the Autobots battled their new opponent: the universe's native Megatron! History

Notes

  • Of Masters and Mayhem was originally going to feature Carla Greer (or at least a sneaky ref) from G.I. Joe, to tie in to an upcoming toy. "Carla Elizabeth Greer" was turned into the Marvel character instead to strengthen the ties to the old comic, while the Elizabeth name was kept to make her more "Fun Pub's' character".[1]
