Osaplam is a town on the planet Cheyne. It is home to Jed and Joe and lies not too far from the Vrobians' farm.

Fiction

Marvel The Transformers comics

The townsfolk initially welcomed the Vrobians when they settled down in a farm a little past Osaplam's borders. This changed, however, when people began to disappear and the involvement of the Vrobians was proven. The people of Osaplam did not chase the dangerous family away immediately, but forbade them from getting near the town ever again.

The young son of the family disobeyed the order one day and was nearly killed for it by the townsfolk, even though they were a little hesitant because of his appearance as a harmless child. In the end, the choice was not up to them as the Triggerbots happened to pass by and were quick to save the child. The townsfolk tried to warn them that the family was not as they seemed, but the Triggerbots didn't believe them and chased them off.

The very next day, one of the Vrobians entered Osaplam to buy some things. Since he was flanked by a hypnotized Dogfight, the townfolk grudgingly let him be. Just then, a group of Decepticons led by Thunderwing arrived in Osaplam and attacked Dogfight. With the robot distracted, the townsfolk immediately took up arms against the Vrobian and forced him to run. Once the Decepticons had left too, uninterested in the Autobot once they figured out he was already caged mentally, the people of Osaplam approached Dogfight and explained he had been manipulated. With their help, Dogfight managed to defeat the mind control and save both the town and his friends from the Vrobians. Kings of the Wild Frontier.

Notes

  • "Osaplam" backwards is "Malpaso", the name of a production company that made many classic Westerns.
