On Thin Ice

A GroundBridge malfunction splits the Autobots all over the world.

Summary

The entire Autobot team has attended to a Decepticon attack, leaving Raf and Miko in charge of the Autobot base and the GroundBridge operations. Optimus Prime contacts Raf, letting him know that the Decepticons have been stopped and to GroundBridge the Autobots back. Raf prepares to do so when Miko shows up, looking for "Popcorn", which Raf assumes is just Miko's hunger speaking. The GroundBridge controls suddenly malfunction, sending the Autobots to wayward locations all over Earth, with Ratchet ending up in Antarctica!

Ratchet directs Raf on how to repair the GroundBridge by activating the backup generator while trying to move to avoid freezing to death. The ice beneath him breaks, sending him into the water, but he is saved just in the nick of time by the GroundBridge. After some investigation, Ratchet finds the cause of the malfunction: a rat that Miko noticed before and named "Popcorn". Ratchet berates Miko for causing this mess and promises to recover his comrades from wherever they were transported to.
