Hoodwink is a Decepticon Pretender from the Japanese cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Hoodwink is a lazy thief, and part of Fenris's Pretender team.

Ask Vector Prime

Hoodwink and his teammates were part of a Decepticon commando team sent to the planet Beast to find the Ultra Matrix, using Pretender technology redeveloped by MegaZarak to operate on the surface. Though they were able to steal it, the Autobots, led by Marduk, defeated them and reclaimed it. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/30
