Killbison
From Transformers Wiki
- Killbison is a Decepticon Breastforce Warrior from the Victory portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Killbison (キルバイソン Kirubaison, aka Ironbison) is the stereotypical violent jock of the Decepticon Breastforce team. He transforms into a double-barreled tank, and like all tanks, his barrels will either be (a) bent backwards (b) yanked at or (c) made useless once the first step has been completed. His Breast Animal partner is Bisonbreast, a winged bull, who does not fly and is not red. This does not keep Killbison from joining with his fellow teammates to form Liokaiser.
His hobbies include throwing knives at pictures conveniently hung on doors, and giving the finger every time he gets the spotlight.
(But does he kill bison? If he does, does he use every part, or does he destroy such magnificent beasts only for their tongues? Ah, the unanswered questions of life.)

Killbison came to Earth with Drillhorn and Jallguar to join their commanding officer Leozack in service of Deathsaurus. He and the other Breastforce members mocked the Dinoforce during the mission brefing on the Thunder Arrow. Later he and the other Breastforce took part in attacking an energy plant in the desert. He and Jallguar attacked Star Saber as the Autobot arrived but were forced to face the Brainmasters. Unite!! Multiforce
The Breastforce traveled to planet Micro, where they grilled Hellbat over the failure of his mission with Blue Bacchus and Black Shadow. The Breastforce's real intent was to attack the Planet Micro Satellite Penitentiary and rescue their old comrade Guyhawk. Storming the prison, Killbison and the rest of the Breastforce ended up fighting Star Saber while Hellbat retrieved Guyhawk. The Decepticons escaped as the prison sank into the lava. Rescue! Guyhawk Back on planet Micro, Killbison and the other Breastforce were told they had a new member named Deathcobra coming to replace Hellbat. A short time later, Hellbat reported that Holi had killed Deathcobra—in fact Hellbat had accidentally killed Deathcobra himself, while trying to persuade the newcomer that he wasn't needed—and Killbison believed the killing to be on Star Saber's orders. The Breastforce attacked Holi and then fought Star Saber, revealing their combined power as Liokaiser. Liokaiser was prevented from killing Star Saber when God Ginrai came to the rescue forcing them to separate and retreat. Unite! Liokaiser
Guyhawk assembled the Breastforce without Leozack's knowledge to go after Greatshot, but they instead ended up attacking the Autobots' Asian headquarters to draw Star Saber out. Once Star Saber had been knocked out of the sky, Killbison linked with the Breastforce to attack him as Liokaiser. A Deadly Battle While God Ginrai lay dying as a result of Deathsaurus's Living-Metal-Destroying Cannon, Killbison and the Breastforce engaged Star Saber and the Brainmasters at a solar power station and managed to steal the energy there. Ginrai Dies!! They went on to attack the power station at Mount Asama, only to be confronted by the mysterious new Autobot Victory Leo. When Leozack arrived, he had Killbison and Drillhorn leave the battle to continue stealing the energy. Victory Leo flattened them on the way to rescue Jan and Holi. Awaken! Victory Leo
After Deathsaurus used smart missiles to devastate a portion of Earth, Killbison took part in taking energy at Calcutta with Jallguar and Guyhawk, and the Autobots were powerless to stop them. The Tide Is Turned! The Ultimate Weapon, the Victory Unification After the plan's inevitable failure, Deathsaurus balled out the Breastforce, even though it had been his own fault. Jan - Defend the Campus!! During another plan, Leozack infiltrated the Autobot Shuttle Base disguised as Star Saber, and Killbison and the rest of the Breastforce waited for him at nearby Incan ruins. When Victory Leo turned up as well, the Breastforce attempted to maintain the charade, but it was spoiled by the arrival of the real Star Saber. Though the Breastforce combined into Liokaiser, Star Saber and Victory Leo merged into Victory Saber and sent them packing. A Mystery?! The Deception of the Base Bombs
During a plan to steal energy from Atlantis, Killbison attacked Star Saber and Victory Leo to hold them off. The Breastforce again merged into Liokaiser and attacked Victory Saber but didn't do terribly well. Deathsaruas ordered them to retreat onto the Thunder Arrow as a tidal wave swept through the area. The Terror of the Giant Tidal Waves
After Deathsaurus resurrected his Planet-Destroying Fortress, Killbison helped attack the Autobots then combined with the rest of the Breastforce into Liokaiser. The combiner attacked Victory Saber but was blasted back into the fortress in the first few seconds of the "fight". The Wrath of the Resurrected Giant Fortress! To keep the Autobots busy while the fortress's main cannon charged, Deathsaurus dispatched the Breastforce—combined as Liokaiser—to battle them. In the course of the clash, Victory Leo was able to blast Liokaiser into the fortress's cannon barrel, which drained the Decepticon's energy dry. With his consciousness fading and his body unable to move, Liokaiser could only utter a fading scream for help as he drifted off into the depths of space. Showdown! The Fortress vs the Victory Unification.

As part of Liokaiser, Killbison was revived from death by some means. Lead by the reborn Dark Emperor Deathsaurus, Liokaiser joined several other powerful Decepticons in an assault on planet Zone. Attempting to steal their Energon Z, the Decepticons proved no match for the Micromasters and were driven away. Zone Project Story
Victory comic
Killbison was seen wisely hovering in the background when Deathsaurus learned Leozack had disobeyed his orders and gone to Earth alone. Leozack's Rampage!
Killbison and the rest of Breastforce dramatically charged into battle against Star Saber, outnumbering him 4-to-1. He then mowed them all down with a single strike from his sword. Oops. Star Saber, Warrior of Love!
Liokaiser once tried to destroy Star Saber and Jan, but failed because the Breastforce lacked the proper spirit of cooperation. Killbison and the others argued internally over which of them would deliver the final blow, giving the Autobot Supreme Commander time to rally against them. Star of Friendship, Jan and Star Saber! On another occasion, the Breastforce fled the scene of a battle after Star Saber and Road Caesar forced Liokaiser to disengage. Shine, Five Stars of Victory
In the finale battle, the war came to an end after the Autobots discovered Killbison and the other Decepticons were only trying to defend and energize their civilian families and loved ones aboard the Stronghold. The Grand Victory War
2005 IDW continuity
Killbison was part of Deathsaurus's contingent of Decepticons stationed in their Warworld. In agreement with Tarn, Deathsaurus and his forces joined with the Decepticon Justice Division to continue the Decepticon dream and eliminate Megatron. The Permanent Revolution After Megatron was lured to the Necroworld, Killbison was a member of the assault team sent after him. How Bright Their Frail Deeds

Toys
Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers
- Killbison (Breastforce, 1989)
- ID number: D-333
- Accessories: Left and right cannons, cannon-mount
- Known designers: Takashi Kunihiro (TakaraTomy), Masakatsu Saito (concept artist)
- Released in the Victory portion of Takara's Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers toyline, Killbison transforms into a gold and white KMW Gepard anti-aircraft tank. He came with his breastplate/gun/animal partner Bisonbreast, who forms robot-mode chest armor for Killbison, as well as Killbison's hand-held blaster. Bisonbreast can also stay in armor mode in Killbison's tank mode.
- He also forms the right leg of the combined robot Liokaiser; unlike most original-series combiners, what little combiner "kibble" there is has been integrated into him rather than a separate accessory (the combined-mode foot simply flips out of the side of his leg). His tank-mode guns and a portion of his turret also form part of Liokaiser's "Strike Missile Gun" with Jallguar's missiles.
- While some samples of Killbision have been shown to suffer from Gold Plastic Syndrome, he is one of the lesser cases, as most of his parts are fairly thick and sturdy. Still, best to exercise caution.
- This mold was used to make the Autobot Rescue Force member Rescue Force 1.
- Liocaesar [sic] (Gift set, 1989)
- ID number: D-335
- Accessories: Left and right cannons, cannon-mount
- Killbison was also available in a complete six-piece box set of the entire Breastforce team. Each toy was identical to their individual releases, with the glaring omission of bio and tech spec cards for the individual members.
Combiner Wars
- Liokaiser (Platinum Edition Collection Pack, 2016)
- Accessories: Tank cannon, double-barreled gun (black), hand/foot/gun
- Combiner Wars Ironbison (like Hellbat, renamed for obvious reasons) is a redeco and new-head retooling of Combiner Wars Brawl, transforming into a tank of indeterminate, probably-made-up model. The horns on his helmet are articulated and need to be flipped back into his head before transformation. His cannon-barrel can separate from the turret to become a hand-held weapon in robot mode. He also comes with a black redeco of Combiner Wars Air Raid's double-barreled blaster.
- As a Combiner Wars Deluxe limb he can combine with any Voyager Class toys released as part of that subline or the Unite Warriors line, or form one of Legends Godbomber's legs, but is of course intended to be combined with his pack-in Destrons and Deszarus to form Liokaiser. His nominal placement is as the right leg.
- Unlike the original Killbison toy, Ironbison is designed to have his leg mode facing forward as opposed to facing sideways. While it can be attached sideways to achieve a look similar to the original toy's design, doing so will rob the Combiner of its functional knees.
- Ironbison was only available as part of a boxed Liokaiser giftset, the only Combiner Wars "Collection Pack" that's co-branded as part of the Platinum Edition range. In the United States, this set was officially exclusive to online retailer Entertainment Earth, but was also stocked by competitor BigBadToyStore, which obtained its stock through Asian vendors. In Hasbro's Asian markets such as Hong Kong and Singapore, it was available at general retail. Additionally, it was also sold at Ripley stores in Chile and at Myer stores in Australia, whereas in Canada, it was available via the Canadian Walmart website, but never sold in stores.

- Known designers: Evan Brooks (Hasbro), Shuhei Umezu (TakaraTomy)[3]
- Legacy Killbison and the rest of his Chest-force team constitute the fifth Transformers-based HasLab project. Like his original toy, Killbison is capable of combining with his squaddies to form Liokaiser and includes his animal companion, the "bull Chest Animal".
Merchandise
Transformers Gum
- Leozack · Jallguar · Killbison (Candy toy kit, 1989)
- Released in the Victory portion of Kabaya's Transformers Gum candy toy line, this Killbison is a tiny little version of his original toy, unassembled and unpainted, cast in black, white and red plastic, with add-on stickers for detailing. He even comes with a little Bisonbreast that doubles as a handgun (it doesn't actually transform, just can be held as a gun). And he keeps the combiner functionality as well.
- Killbison was only available in a box packed in with Leozack, Jallguar, and a plank of gum which by no means should you put in your mouth if you acquire it.
