- Gaia Unicron (Voyager, 2012)
- Set ID number: AM-19
- Micron ID number: M-26
- Release date: September 29, 2012
- Energon Crystal: SP Ice
- Part of the seventh wave of TakaraTomy Prime toys, Bogu transforms from a rocky-looking robotic mole into a weapon resembling one of Unicron's spikes; in fact, he is designed to replace Unicron's left forearm, which then combines with his right forearm to give Unicron a much more show-accurate look. Bogu is covered in 5 mm posts and holes as part of the Arms Micron gimmick, allowing him to combine with other Microns to form bigger and more ridiculous "Combo Weapons" and "Super Combo Weapons".
- He was only available packed in with the Voyager Gaia Unicron toy, coming out of the package as a bunch of unpainted parts on runners, like a model kit. His extra deco is provided by customer-applied foil stickers on a sheet he shares with Unicron.
- Optimus Prime + Gaia Unicron (Multi-pack, 2013)
- Energon Crystal: SP Ice
- This Asian-exclusive redeco of Bogu comes pre-assembled, and lacks stickers.
- He and a similarly stickerless (but now extensively painted) Gaia Unicron came in a multi-pack with Optimus Prime and his Arms Micron O.P.
- Nightmare Unicron (Voyager, 2013)
- A gunmetal/charcoal redeco of Bogu as Bogu M ("Metallic"? "Midnight"?) was included with the Nightmare Unicron toy.
- Nightmare Unicron was released as a "Cybertron Satellite" store exclusive in Japan; basically, any retailer who was part of the program could sell it. Prior to this release, he was revealed as a prize for the second "Arms Up Micron" contest.
Notes
- Bogu's name has a rather interesting background. It's probably based on the Japanese name for a mole, モグラ (mogura), but it also harkens back to Unicron's Mini-Con in Armada, Dead End, whose Japanese name was "Bug" (バグ Bagu).
- Bogu's name was first erroneously applied to Baru. Given the rather funny way Japanese is treated, it could have worked either way.
- The Energon Crystal type is not listed on his larger partner's box-back, unlike pretty much every other pack-in Micron ever. The Crystal type instead comes from the online "Arms Up Missions" game.
