hi, Scott and (Spectre) folks!
Avatar 🧩 Swag For Life Member 4:07pm
Matt from Springfield:

Oh WOW! This is the notorious Oar album, by the Moby Grape member who took a Syd Barrett turn. This was "the lowest-selling album in Columbia Records history". Doesn't sound too bad to me, this is a nice spaced-out jam.

Matt, it definitely has its moments.

I never got to see Spacemen 3 together, but saw both Kember & Spaceman's other projects lots. The vibe, it was consistent, to say the least. And always amazing
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:19pm

Oar is amazing, but pretty damaged. If you dig it, go for Mayo Thompson's "Corky's Debt to His Father", similar turf to my ears, albeit sane

Avatar 🧩 Swag For Life Member 4:58pm

Fine grown-up number, 32. Power of 2, old enough to do pretty much anything but not a geezer yet. Fine number.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:59pm

yeah, 32 was a very good year

Spring and Only Now X Orogen are new to me and digdug.

Considering the ages of 30-35 were the best years of my life, I would 32 is an awesome year to be in. (22-24 weren't bad either).
Avatar 🧩 Swag For Life Member 5:14pm
Matt from Springfield:

@TDK60: Nice! Is he performing anything specific? I saw him perform Pet Sounds about 12 years ago - LIKED!! And Al Jardine joined him for that show as well!

@NGH: 24 is a great number too, a multiple of 3 and 4, part of the Babylonian base-60 system (thus creating the hours of the day), and...that was MY initiation year into WFMU! Never looked back! :D
