At the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), we are dedicated to building a healthy, safe and strong community—one person at a time. We provide services that address the basic and critical needs of our community’s most vulnerable children, adults and seniors. The Department provides services that protect the community’s health, protect the health and safety of at-risk children and vulnerable adults, and address basic needs such as food, shelter, clothing and personal care.
At this site, you can find information about our programs and services. You can also download copies of our departmental reports, such as our Strategic Plan, find out about how our department is organized, and follow links to other helpful websites.
We are continuously improving our web site and expanding the information available. We hope you find the website useful and we welcome your comments and questions.
