About
What's the deal with your nickname? How did you get it? If your nickname is self-explanatory, then tell everyone when you first started using the internet, and what was the first thing that made you say "wow, this isn't just a place for freaks after all?" Was it a website? Was it an email from a long-lost friend? Go on, spill it.
F MacKenzie was my pen name when I first got online in the 80s. It's from Eleanor Rigby, second verse: Father MacKenzie, writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear.
The only writing I excelled at was computer code, and I did that well enough to sell my small business in 1999. I moved to the Missouri Ozarks and started volunteering full-time, and now spend most of my time on trails.
