(What is this?)

I didn't see much of this series at all, but I caught the end of today's game, and that I regret. Felix was bouncing every other pitch by the eighth, and that can spell trouble against a lineup like Tampa Bay's that pretty much exclusively hits fastballs. I didn't think I'd ever see the day that Ty Wigginton, Greg Norton, and Kevin Witt all went deep off a Mariner pitcher, but life's full of little surprises that keep you covering your crotch with your hands even when the threat seems low.

Hopefully things are back to normal tomorrow (Washburn, Robertson, 10:05am PDT), but I can't make any promises. In any case, the Tigers are 8-17 in their last 25 games, so if ever there were a good time to face the team with the best record in the AL, this is it.
