Mariner-related thanks

This is the first Thanksgiving holiday in a long, long time where I haven’t dreaded potential team news. Last year, I had hope, but we didn’t really know how things were going to go. And now, I feel like I could safely go on vacation for a week, or a month, and not come back to find that the team made some colossal error we’d be complaining about for years to come.
Leaving me to concentrate on cooking crazy potato dishes. Muwahahahahahaha!
So thanks for that, still-relatively-new Mariner front office.
Amen to that! It’s going to be an interesting and exciting December, and that’s not just because my little girl is due any day now! Happy Thanksgiving to all in USS Mariner land! Any thoughts on a USS Mariner event around Fanfest? Dave? Derek? Any thoughts? 🙂

It really is a feeling I’m not used to. The cynic in me still wants to be concerned but I can’t seem to get worked up.
Crazy potato dishes? Love it! Got any good ones?
I second those sediments.
It’s tough not to be thankful for our awesome front office and our solid coaching staff.
Can’t wait for 2010 and beyond! 🙂
Happy Turkey Day, everyone!

::: cheers :::
And they all said.. AMEN. Happy thanksgiving guys.
Happy Thanksgiving to all and to the authors, Derek and Dave, a special thanks for ussmariner and all the work you do. You are deeply appreciated.
During dinner tonight my family talked about the things we’re all thankful for. I mentioned Zduriencik.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
ummm. potatoes.
I was fed two different kinds of roasted sweet potatoes tonight.
Yes, we are all very thankful Zduriencik and the new front office. I’m beginning to remember what it was like to enjoy November and December baseball news again. Maybe he can even help with those crazy potatoes, the man and his men are awesome.
I also give thanks for Roger Angell, still writing wonderfully about baseball in the New Yorker (go find Nov 30th for his WS recap)
