The following table presents the estimated pitch counts for selected pitchers, using the Basic Pitch Count Estimator, by age.

The estimator is: 3.3 PA + 1.5 SO + 2.2 BB, where PA = 3 IP + H + BB.

All data from the Lahman database, except for additional data provided by Retrosheet for the Koufax Actual column.

All games, including relief appearances, included.
