Where are the Cleveland fans?

The Cleveland baseball team are sixth in odds of making the final four in the American Conference.  We have so few games remaining (under 20), that Cleveland being 2 1/2 games ahead of division rival Royals is a huge gulf.  Cleveland is at 19% of making the final four in the AC, while the Royals are at 1%.  Even in coin-flip mode (i.e., the two teams, and all the teams, being equally talented), the odds are 16% to 3%.

So, I was disappointed to see that Cleveland was 13th out of 15 in attendance.  And that last night, fewer than 10,000 paid.  Is it a matter of price points, that Cleveland has priced itself out of the market?  How does it compare to prior years in terms of pricing?  Is it apathy?  Has there been a shift in market?  What is happening in Cleveland in 2013 that makes the fan believe they are the same team in the same position as Cleveland in 2012?

The best marketing for a team is winning, and so, I'd expect that to be a driver.  What's going on?  I'd love to hear form the fans out there.?
