Tim Burke, Expos 1987
After Jeff Reardon left the Expos , it opened up the door for someone to take over in 1987, with the most likely candidate being Tim Burke. But, he wasn't given the job right away. In a nice display, here is how the Leverage Index was handed out to their three top relievers that year. So, it took a while for Burke to get the trust, and somehow McClure was getting alot of chances near the end.
