Royals Batting Order
King applies (some of) the findings of The Book onto the Royals forecasted lineup.? Note that between the #3 and #5 hitters, you put the guy with more HR power at #3. So, Moustakas third and Perez fifth.
Other findings in The Book weren't considered, so, it would have to be part of the thought process. Notably GIDP, Lefty-Righty, forecasts against LHP/RHP, speed. I don't know if any of these changes the batting order, but they all have a place in the discussion.
In terms of cost/benefit (i.e., amount of time spent thinking about the batting order v the benefit you get out of optimization), I'd say that it's probably the worst way to spend your time. Though also the most fun!
