RetroFX Database (BBOS)
?Kyle is back for his sixth year, giving everyone the tools to upload Retrosheet and Gameday data.
I've never used it since I'm used to what CWEVENT gives me directly. But, from the sounds of it, I think he uses CWEVENT, plus more. I may do the switch.
Anyway, when I used CWEVENT, the load time for 1993-2013 (3919910 records) was 17:28, with a CPU time of 2:48 (Oracle DB, while Kyle uses MySQL). So, 3740 records per real-time second, or 23,333 recs per CPU second. Can someone report their numbers using BBOS?

Also: I'll bet there are some non-DB fellows out there, like MGL, who would appreciate someone uploading the data, then providing it as csv, whether at SourceForge or Dropbox. Is that something that someone out there can take the initiative on?
